Fine 0000 Steel Wool works perfectly for polishing frets to a mirror shine. Great for cleaning unfinished fretboards such as ebony and rosewood too. Do not use on lacquered maple fretboards.

Before using steel wool on your guitar it is recommended to put a piece of masking tape on your pick-ups. The magnetic pole pieces might attract small steel wool particles and they can be difficult to remove.
