These screws are used to adjust the height of single coil pickups.

Description
These single coil pickup screws will fit USA made pick-ups. They will also work for many Asian made pick-ups but you will probably need to enlarge the screwholes in the pickguard a bit.
To adjust the pickup height you will can use these screws together with pickup springs or rubbers.
