Description
A 499kOhm resistor is often used in guitars with humbucker and single coil pick-ups (HSS & HSH). If you are using 500kOhm pots your single coils might sound a bit too bright. Adding a 499kOhm resistor solves that problem and is similar to the 470kOhm mod.
