Gibson introduced the Goldtop Nitro finish in 1952 on the Les Paul Standard. This Les Paul has a mahogany body and a maple cap finished in Goldtop Nitro lacquer. 

The goldtop nitro finish has changed throughout the years. The standard Goldtop Nitro lacquer was already available and now Aged Goldtop is added. This version of the Goldtop Nitro finish is a bit darker giving it a slightly aged look.

One spraycan contains 400ml Aged Goldtop nitro lacquer.

Please be aware that in order to finish your guitar and to protect the color we recommend spraying a topcoat of clear nitro.

Aged Goldtop nitro lacquer is best kept in a place with a room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Keep out of direct sunlight.
